Leonardo Sanchez is a machine safety professional with more than 20 years of experience in the manufacturing and electrical industry. Holding an Electrical Engineer degree, and the certification of Expert in Functional Safety of Machinery granted by TUV Germany for his merits in this field, he is one of only 33 people worldwide certified at this level and Mr. Sanchez is the only Spanish-speaking (TUV 286 Certification / 17). As an Electrical Safety Engineer Expert with NFPA Certification, he has expertise in OSHA, ANSI, ISO, and NFPA Standards related to electrical and machinery safety, including experience with turnkey projects for multinational companies in different manufacturing segments such as pharmaceutical, food and beverage, pulp and paper, automotive, as well as support for machinery manufacturers and integrators of safety solutions in Europe, the United States, and Latin America.
